Today, bestselling crime novelist Karin Slaughter is making an appearance right outside of her hometown. She will be at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center.
The Gwinnett County Public Library is hosting Slaughter's book discussion and signing for "The Kept Woman". It is a free event that begins a 7 p.m.
Books will be on hand to purchase on behalf of Barnes & Noble. Those who do buy at the event will receive a priority position in the signing line.
Slaughter has written 16 novels and sold over 35 million copies in her career. Those books have been translated into 36 different languages.
The New York Times bestsellers "Cop Town" and "Pretty Girls" highlight her work as an author. Some of Slaughter's book series are currently in development for film and television.
In addition to being an author, Slaugther is a library advocate. She is involved in the "Save The Libraries" initiative in Georgia.
