BBQ Expert Steven Raichlen Holds Tulsa Events Next Wednesday

Next Wednesday, barbecue fanatics in Tulsa have a pair of highly-anticipated events to attend.  Master BBQ griller, Steven Raichlen, is in town for two appearances that day. 

First, Raichlen is taking part in a cooking demonstration at noon at the Hasty-Bake Grill Store.  For $40, attendees get a copy of his book, "Project Smoke", while also getting the opportunity to attend the lunch and book signing. 

Then at 5:30, Raichlen will be on hand for a private dinner, meet and greet and book signing at Burn Co. BBQ.  There are 60 limited spots available for a $75 ticket that includes a book copy as well.

Raichlen is making the visit to Tulsa to promote the launch of his new show "Project Smoke" on local public television.  He has hosted several other barbeque-centric programs on public television in the past. 

Raichlen is the author of 28 books that cover a variety of cooking disciplines.  Those cookbooks have won five James Beard Foundation Awards.  

In 2003, Bon Apetit named Raichlen their "Cooking Teacher of the Year".  He is also the founder of Barbeque University, an intense three-day cooking course held at the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs.
