New Orleans Pelicans' big man Anthony Davis exploded onto the NBA scene last season.  While becoming one of the league's biggest stars on the court, he also capitalized off of it.

Davis, who already has endorsement deals with Nike and Red Bull, has picked up a new partnership with H&R Block.  The tax preparation company will feature their new larger than life marketer in a commercial campaign this tax season.

Noted H&R Block tax advisor Richard Gartland stars with Davis in the ads. In addition to the spots, he will make appearances for the company as part of the deal.

Davis is having another excellent season so far and is currently averaging 23.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game.  He made his first All-NBA first team last year and has led the league in blocks in back-to-back campaigns.

The two-time All-Star also led the Pelicans back to the playoffs and led the NBA in player efficiency rating.  New Orleans awarded his efforts with a five-year, $145 max contract extension in July.

Davis has been everything expected since being the first overall pick out of Kentucky in the 2012 NBA Draft.  He was a dominant player in his one collegiate season, leading the Wildcats to a national title and being named Most Oustanding Player of the Final Four.
