The Palm Beach Book Festival had a little Hollywood star power this year.  The Jupiter, Florida resident, actor Burt Reynolds, made an appearance on Saturday for a book signing.

The second annual book festival was held at Norton Museum.  Reynolds signed copies of his memoir, "But Enough About Me".

In addition to signing, Reynolds also head an on-stage question and answer session.  Many that have known the film star for years were in attendance at the event.

Reynolds has been nominated for six Golden Globes and has won two of the trophies.  He was also nominated for the Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in "Boogie Nights".

During the 1970's, Reynolds was one of the biggest movie stars in the world.  He made a name for himself in pictures like "Deliverance", "The Longest Yard", and "Smokey and the Bandit".

In 1978, Reynolds realized the fruits of his labor with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  He began his acting career only once his football dreams were dashed, due to multiple injuries while playing collegiately at Florida State.
