Yasmin has worked for big names including Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Karl Lagerfeld, among others.
She has also appeared on the first American and British issues of Elle. Yasmin was discovered in 1981 by a local modeling agency while she worked a part-time sales job. She then competed in local beauty contests, fashion shows, and did a lot of hand modeling.
Yasmin eventually took on modeling full time signing on a trial basis with the Models 1 Agency. In 1987, she participated in an ad campaign for Guess? and two years later, she became one of the highest paid models in the entire world.
In the spring of 2001, by then a 36-year-old mother of three, Le Bon modeled bikinis for Marks & Spencer. In 2003, Yasmin signed an exclusive deal with designer Matthew Williamson and his sponsor.
