She has appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue on a number of occasions, as well as on the covers of Marie Claire, Shape, and Fashion Quarterly. Yasmeen has made appearances in ads for Anne Klein, Bruno Magli, Chanel, Gianfranco Ferra, Gianni Versace Couture, Givenchy Organza perfume, Christian Dior Haute couture, Escada, Etienne Aigner, Jil Sander, Laura Biagiotti, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sonia Rykiel, Valentino and Victoria's Secret.
She has also taken on several big shows, including Badgley Mischka, Christian Dior, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Antonio Berardi, Dirk Bikkembergs, Dries van Noten, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Dirk Bikkembergs.
Her first step towards a modeling career took place when she signed with a Montreal modeling agency. Yasmeen moved to New York in 1990, where she began modeling for Versace. Soon thereafter, Yasmeen bega modeling for Isaac Mizrahi, Chanel and Givenchy. She also garnered the honor of being the star in Donna Karan's Fall collection preview.
Ghauri spent most of 1994 and 1995 walking the runways of Milan, Paris and New York.
