Actor Vin Diesel was born in New York City on July 18, 1967 and raised in Greenwich Village by his mother Delora Vincent and stepfather Irving Vincent.
In his first film, "Multi-Facial", he produced, directed and starred in the short film in 1994. In the film he discussed an actor's struggle during the audition process.
Since then he has had major roles in a number of films including "The Fast and the Furious", "xXx", "Saving Private Ryan", and "The Chronicles of Riddick".
Diesel is also the founder of the production companies OneRace Films and Tigon Studios.
