Tom Martino is head of a nationally syndicated show called "The Troubleshooter Show." Based in Denver, Colorado, this show focuses on specific complaints that callers have about different businesses.
Martino investigates the complaints, contacts the other party in the disputes, solicits comments from callers and then gives advice on the matter. The show has been going on for thirty years in which Martino claims to have recovered millions of dollars in cash, merchandise, and services for consumers who bring their problem to his show.
Along with hosting his own show, Martino also reports for KDVR in Denver. Prior to this, he spent 18 years working at CBS station KCNC. He also operates a list of businesses endorsed by him called the "Troubleshooter Referral List". He requires companies to pay a fee and adhere to a strict ethics code in order to be a member of this referral list.
Martino's career began as the writer of a consumer oriented column for the Catskill Daily Mail, a newspaper in New York. In 1976, he began working in radio and television and continued to write columns for the Rocky Mountain News. He now writes columns for his very own website. Martino also operates Liberty Bell Telecom, a telecommunications company, is a real estate developer and a private pilot.
