Tina Fey is an American writer, comedian, and actress, best known for her work on Saturday Night Live.
When Saturday Night Live (SNL)came to Second City seeking some fresh new talent in 1995, Fey stood out from the pack. After joining the SNL cast as a staff writer in 1997, Fey was SNL's first female writing supervisor and her mark as one-half of the Weekend Update crew was unmistakable. Fey also performed in the critically praised two-woman comedy show Dratch and Fey.
Fey's other work has included writing for The Colin Quinn Show, in addition to writing and appearing in the movie Mean Girls, an adaptation of author Rosalind Wiseman's book Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Boyfriends and Other Realities of Adolescence.
