Ted Johnson is a former NFL linebacker. He played ten years in the NFL, all with the New England Patriots.
He grew up in Carlsbad, California and attended the University of Colorado. After graduating, he was drafted in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Patriots as the 57th overall selection.
In his ten-year career, he played in 125 regular season games and recorded 757 tackles, 11.5 sacks, one interception, six forced fumbles, and seven fumble recoveries. His most important statistic is leading his team to four Super Bowls, winning three out of the four.
After retiring prior to the 2005 season, he went into the broadcast booth as a football analyst for a Boston television station, however, most recently in 2006 he resigned.
He currently lives in Weston, Massachusetts.
