Taylor Dent is a professional tennis player from Santa Ana, California. He is the son of former ATP player and 1974 Australian Open finalist Phil Dent.
Throughout his career, he has won 4 ATP singles titles. His career has been plagued by recurring back and groin problems which continues to slow his progress. His career high rank is #21, a mark he made in 2005.
Most recently, Taylor may be best known for his role in a television commercial where he plays the opponent of a young boy playing the role of Jaden Agassi, the son of Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.
Although his career has been somewhat inconsistent, he has earned well over $2 million just from playing tennis. Due to an injury, Taylor was forced to sit out the 2006 U.S. Open but was a commentator for The Tennis Channel.
Taylor currently resides in Huntington Beach, California.
