Taj Burrow is one of Australia's most well-known surfers. In 1985 at the age of seven, Taj began surfing. He discovered how good he could become at surfing and several years later won many competitions, becoming recognized as a future star.
In 1998, Taj went professional and has since been recognized as one of the world's best surfers. He is now a member of the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame. Although he has never won a surfing title.
Today, Taj is sponsored by Billabong, Boost Mobile, Von Zipper, and Webber. To date, his earnings from surfing are nearing $700,000. He currently resides in Yallingup, Western Australia.
When not surfing, Taj enjoys writing and has even released his own book, "Taj Burrow's Book of Hot Surfing." He has also produced his own surf videos such as "Taj Burrow's Fair Bits."
