He is also founder, chairman, and CEO of Freedom Fund, Inc., a multi-million dollar non-profit development corporation dedicated to recovering blighted urban areas and providing comprehensive and sustainable revitalization. Freedom Fund, Inc., partners with the private sector in inner-city commercial ventures, reinvesting all profits from Freedom Fund endeavors into the communities in which they do business.

An activist since his days at Grambling State University, Reeves labored as an intern on Rev. Jesse Jackson's 1988 presidential campaign. During that time, Reeves was able to see and understand "the politics of race." He found himself questioning the black community's blind loyalty to the Democratic Party. He entered into a serious evaluation of both the Democratic and Republican parties, as well as his own belief system, which was largely influenced by his Pentecostal grandparents who raised him. Professors at Grambling pointed to Reeves; conservative leanings and in 1989 Reeves decided to become a Republican while continuing his work with the NAACP. He founded Grambling's first Republican Club and successfully mobilized over 75 members.

Now 31, Reeves is a hot, young, up and coming star in American politics.
