Sal Paolantonio is considered as one of ESPN's top reporters. Sal can be seen every Sunday reporting on the NFL for ESPN. Sal joined ESPN in 1995 and has been a part of Sportscenter, NFL Live, Sunday NFL Countdown, and Monday Night Countdown.
Some of Sal's past experience includes reporting for the Philadelphia Inquirer on the Philadelphia Eagles, reporting for a nightly newscast in Philadelphia, reporting for the Albany Times Union, and hosting a call-in show in Philadelphia on an all-sports radio network. His reporting has earned him some honor as well. In 1994, he won the Associated Press Sports Editors Award for Reporting.
Paolantonio graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 1977 with a bachelor of arts degree in history. He also attended New York University, where he received a master's degree in journalism in 1978.
Sal also served in the U.S. Army for 5 years where he was awarded the United Nations Meritorious Service Medal in 1983.
