Richard graduated from NorthwesternUniversity and is also an alumnus of The Second City Chicago.
Richard created the role of Addison Mizner in Stephen Sondheim's "Bounce", and has appeared on Broadway in" The Tale of the Allergist's Wife" in 2000, "The Producers" in 2002, and "Sly Fox" in 2004. He also appeared as the Jury Foreman in the film "The Producers" in 2005. Richard is the voice of Clark, an anaconda on "Clark & Lewis Expedition" radio commercials for Horizon Air with Patrick Warburton as "Lewis". He was the voice of Molt in Disney's "A Bugs Life", and Tom the cat in "Tom and Jerry". He currently has a role in Scrubs as Mr. Corman, an annoying hypochondriac.
Richard was the casting director for "Confessions" of a Dangerous Mind, and he played himself on the short-lived HBO series "Unscripted" which is executive-produced by Clooney.
Currently you can hear Richard in Stitch's Great Escape at the MagicKingdom at The Walt Disney World Resort.
