Rebecca Lobo is a former WNBA basketball player.
She attended the University of Connecticut where she led her team to the 1995 National Championship. Also in 1995, she also won the Naismith and College Player of the Year awards.
After college, she joined the New York Liberty in the WNBA. After five seasons with the Liberty, she was traded to the Houston Comets. She would go on to join the Connecticut Sun for the 2003 season, prior to retiring.
Today, Lobo works for NBA-TV as a color analyst. She also broadcasts and announces women's and men's college basketball games.
She is currently married to Sports Illustrated writer Steve Rushin, with whom she has one daughter.
