Peggy Buchanan worked with best selling author Covert Bailey before co-creating the "Know More Diet™", a nutrition program offered internationally through the Jazzercise corporation. Peggy co-created "Aquamotion: served on the "Shape Magazine" exercise video review panel for two years.
Buchanan helped design the Aerobics Instructor Performance Review System for IDEA and served three years on the IDEA Lifetime Achievement and Instructor of the Year Award Selection Committee. In 1993, Peggy was awarded the first Jazzercise President's Award, the highest honor given to one outstanding Jazzercise instructor for overall career achievement and program contribution.
Peggy is currently the Director of Fitness, Recreation and Leisure Services at Vista Del Monte, a retirement community in Santa Barbara, California. Peggy was honored with the IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year Award (best in the world) at the Anaheim, California international convention in July of 1997.
