Paul DiMeo is a carpenter that is a regular cast member of the reality television series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He is originally from Media, Pennsylvania and has a family of five children. Paul's love of carpentry began at the age of 5, when he and his father had to rebuild their home after a fire.
Paul also made friends with and worked for the owners of The Open Space Theatre, Harry Baum, and Lynne Michaels. Some of his work was freelance for a variety of other Broadway theatres and dance companies. Renovating was also an enjoyable project for Paul. Therefore, he brought a group of people into a project entitled "Loft Living." They work to renovate lofts and brownstones in and around New York City.
For his incredible work, Paul was chosen as the master carpenter on the restoration of the Landmark Brownstone of Aaron Burr. Paul later moved to Los Angeles, California where he continued the "Loft Living" project. Here he was hired by many celebrities and stores to renovate their spaces. Currently Paul lives in Los Angeles with his wife,Kelly, and runs his marketing/labor company, High Meadows Production, Inc. He is sometimes spoofed on Saturday Night Live due to his tendency to cry frequently and repeatedly during each episode of Extreme Makeover.
