Naima Mora was born on March 1, 1984- the youngest of four children. She lived in Detroit, Michigan where she was highly dedicated to ballet. She had the ability to practice at Detroit's Ballet Renaissance and the American Ballet.
She graduated from Cass Technical High School (Detroit, Michigan) in 2002. Shortly after, she moved to New York to practice at the School of Dance Theatre in Harlem. After that, she auditioned for the Reality Show, America's Next Top Model, where she won.
Since her establishment of a model career, Naima has won an Emmy in 2005, made multiple appearances on the Tyra Bank's Show, and been a judge in the Miss Teen USA competition.
She had five UK Top 10 singles with the band and one platinum album, Wonder No. 8. In 2001 a solo song featured on the never released album Harmony called Love Is Strange. In 2005 she performed with the Honeyz for the last time on the show Hit me baby one more time. Singer Candii Cherry, causin from lead singer Célena Cherry filled her place.
Naima is currently trying to establish herself as an actress. The first movie she appeared in is called Alien Autopsy and she will star as Jenny in the 2006 comedy Heroes and Villains.
