Mischa Barton is best known for her role in the TV series The O.C.
She began her career in acting when she was nine years old with a lead role in Slavs!. She also took part in many plays such as Twelve Dreams where she took the leading role. Her film debut was made in Lawn Dogs, winning awards at film festivals around the world.
Barton has since appeared in several films, including Notting Hill, The Sixth Sense, and Lost and Delirious, in which she starred.
Mischa's first television appearance took place in 1994, with the role of "Lily Montgomery" in All My Children. She starred in the film Pups two years later. Barton has also had a one-time appearance in the Fox show Fastlane, has appeared in the video for "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt as well as in Enrique Iglesias's video, Addicted.
She has served as a model for Calvin Klein and has appeared in advertisements for retailers such as Aéropostale, bebe, Dooney and Bourke, and JC (Jeans and Clothes). Neutrogena has recently made this artist the cover girl for their new worlwide ad campaign. Barton also did a commercial for Keds sneakers.
