Before he lost his leg to cancer at 17, Marc Woods swam in local
races, but never achieved his full potential. After the surgery, he stepped
up his training, winning a race while still undergoing chemotherapy.
Six months later, he was swimming faster with one leg than he ever had
with two. Eighteen months later, he represented Great Britain for the
first time, later competing in five Paralympics games and winning 12
medals – four of them Gold. He engages audiences with specific methods
he found to motivate himself against daunting odds, empowering them to
adapt these tools to their own lives and organizations.
