Malinda was featured in the independent film "An Invited Guest", directed by Timothy Wayne Folsome, which also starred Mekhi Phifer, Kim Fields and Wanya Morris. The film won Best of Show at the 1999 Acapulco Black Film Festival and the Audience Awards at the 1999 Urban World Festival in New York.
Williams also starred in the MTV film "The Wood", distributed by Paramount. She has done many films including "SunsetPark", "High School High", and "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate".
Williams has been featured in ABC's "NYPD Blue" and CBS's "What About Your Friends?". She has also appeared in sitcoms such as "Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher", where she was a series regular and she's been on several episodes of Moesha.
