Laura Innes has guest-starred on popular television series like "Party of Five," "My So-Called Life." Innes's first big role came when she was cast as Thomas Haden Church's promiscuous ex-wife Bunny on the NBC hit comedy series Wings.
Her performance caught the attention of the NBC's creative team for the popular medical drama "ER". In the hit show's second season, Innes landed the role of Dr. Weaver, and was made a regular cast member for the series' third season.
Innes has received two Emmy Award nominations for the role of Dr. Kerry Weaver, along with three Screen Actors Guild Awards as part of the "ER" cast. She has also received five Best Supporting Actress nominations from Viewers for Quality Television.
Innes has also directed several "ER" episodes, and even episodes of "The West Wing," one of which garnered Innes an Emmy nomination for directing.
