Before becoming a full-time speaker and consultant, Freiberg taught for eight years at the University of San Diego and San Diego State University, where he met his wife, Jackie. He received his bachelors in English literature and masters degree in speech communication from San Diego State; he earned his doctorate in educational leadership at the University of San Diego.
Kevin and Jackie Freiberg are co-authors of NUTS! Southwest Airlines' Crazy Recipe for Business and Personal Success, published in October 1996. It is an inside look at the leadership principles and practices behind one of America's truly great success stories.
Freiberg's interests include snow skiing, water skiing, and tennis. He has been a competitive water-skier for over 25 years.
