Kathie Lee Gifford is most recognized as a full-time morning talk show TV personality.

Her career took off in 1985 when she replaced Cyndy Garvey as co-host of The Morning Show with Regis Philbin.  The program was renamed "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" and it went into national broadcast in 1988.  Kathie became the popular face of morning TV across America.

Gifford is a devout born-again Christian and claims that her religious faith has carried her through several personal crises.  Kathie spent fifteen years as Philbin's sidekick before she decided to move on from "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" in 2000.

Kathie has since made guest appearances in various movies and television series.  She has several independently released albums including "The Heart of a Woman".  She has also recorded many Contemporary Christian songs.

Kathie occasionally works on "The Insider", a syndicated entertainment magazine television show, as a correspondent.  She also devotes time to children's charities has sponsored and supported shelters in New York City for babies born with AIDS or  congenital crack cocaine addictions.
