John brings real life examples to his audiences by sharing his experiences as a professional baseball player with the California Angels, 12 years as a highly touted pre-game speaker for the Chicago Bears as well as his current aspirations of taking on the Senior Tour as a scratch golfer. John's ability to connect with an audience is uncanny and his humorous, yet inspirational presentations encourage people to face adversity, embrace change and meet the daily pressures of modern life head on!

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati and after three years of professional baseball, a Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston. John has diverse community involvement. From 1973 to 1975, he directed a youth counseling center. In 1975, he became a minister of a small church in Colorado, where the congregation grew from 80 to 2,000 people in five years. Then in 1981, as Director of Special Projects at World Relief, John challenged people throughout the world to get involved in helping the hungry.

Since 1983, when he founded the Cassis Group, John has provided motivational and team building resources to professionals. Having met face-to-face with hundreds of successful CEO's and managers from top-performing companies, John understands today's "high pressure" business environment.
