Joe Lamp'l is not only a gardening expert and host of Fresh From the Garden on DIY Network and GardenSMART on PBS, he's a spirited, fun-loving gardener who's passionate about sharing his interest in gardening with others.  In fact, he has dedicated his time to founding and creating gardening and horticulture resources for gardeners of all levels.

As a Master Gardener and Certified Landscape Professional, Joe's work is highly acclaimed.  His fresh, inspirational and nurturing style along with his spectacular ability as a presenter and educator make Joe a sought after resource around the country.  2006 is no exception and includes television appearances on The Today Show, The Victory Garden and America's Heartland and as a featured speaker at the five largest flower shows in the country.  Joe is also the voice of gardening on The joe gardener Radio Show, heard on Atlanta's 920 AM WGKA, and a syndicated columnist in nearly 400 newspapers nationwide.  His weekly column, The Gardener Within, as well as The joe gardener Radio Show, focus on all aspects of gardening from landscaping to composting.  Joe is currently writing Over the Fence: Learning from the Gardener Next Door.  It will be available in bookstores February 2007.
