Jack is also the founder of the Foundation for Self-Esteem in Culver City, California, where he has designed programs for and worked with prisoners, welfare recipients, gang members, and inner-city youth. As a result, he was appointed by the state legislature to the historic California Task Force to Promote Self-Esteem and Personal and Social Responsibility. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of the National Council for Self-Esteem.
