In her role, she oversees the company's award-winning consumer health website; Orbis Broadcast Group, the leading producer of health-related video programming; and Medical Consumer Media (MCM), which broadcasts medical conferences and symposia over the Internet. Dr. Atkinson will also lead the company's eHealth Solutions Division, which focuses on health content and connectivity solutions for managed care and provider organizations and employers.

Previously, Dr. Holly Atkinson was President and CEO of Reuters Health Information Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Reuters, the British news and information company. In this position, she was responsible for Reuters' health news and information initiative. This entailed overseeing the development of professional and consumer health news and information products, technology, and sales and marketing, including the company's Internet strategy. Having been one of the original founders of the news group, Dr. Holly Atkinson built Reuters Health into the leading provider of medical news for consumers and professionals on the Internet.

Dr. Atkinson's extensive experience as a medical correspondent includes assignments with NBC's Today show, the CBS Morning News, Lifetime Medical Television and the PBS health show Bodywatch. In the past, she has written a regular health column for New Woman and Living Fit magazine, and been a columnist for OnHealth.com and AskDr.Weil.com, two of the leading health sites on the Internet. Dr. Atkinson is also author of the highly acclaimed book Women and Fatigue. She has earned both a doctorate of medicine and a master's degree in journalism. She currently has a faculty appointment as lecturer in the Department of Public Health, at Cornell University Medical College.
