Harry Hamlin is best known for his "Sexiest Man Alive" award in 1987. Hamlin began his acting days at The Hill School, a private boarding school in Pennsylvania. While at the boarding school, Hamlin played soccer and lacrosse and acted in the school's musicals and plays.
Hamlin got his big screen break when he starred in the 1981 film "Clash of the Titans." Prior to that role, he also appeared in the film "Movie, Movie." Since his role in the "Clash of the Titans," Hamlin's film career has faltered somewhat.
It was then that Hamlin started in television. In 1986, he starred on the NBC television drama "L.A. Law" for five years. Hamlin can also be seen in an episode of Batman: The Animated Series. In 2004, Hamlin began a recurring role on the television series Veronica Mars.
Most recently, Hamlin can be found performing in the television series "Dancing With the Stars."
