Gia Russo is a writer and stylist with a background in design and architecture. She currently resides in Santa Monica, California, and was the associate editor of gardening, weddings, and style for Martha Stewart Living. Gia traveled the country for Martha Stewart, advising brides and their families about weddings. Very quickly Michele and Gia recognized the opportunities and voids in the marketplace.
In 1999 Michele and Gia ventured out on their own, moving to Los Angeles and forming their company, MiGi, a combination of their first names. They co-authored two books, Wedding Showers and Baby Showers. Their third book, At Home With Friends, an exquisitely photographed homage to simple, elegant entertaining for all occasions, was published in 2002. It was nominated for a Gourmand International Award. Michele and Gia have contributed content to many magazines, including O Magazine, InStyle, Glamour, Lucky and Fit Pregnancy.
