Fuzzy Zoeller is a professional golfer on the PGA Tour and graduate of the University of Houston. After leaving college, he turned professional in 1973.
In 1979, Zoeller became one of only three golfers to have won The Masters in his first appearance in the event. His other win in a major championship came at the 1984 U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Club.
Zoeller, always known for his locker room humor, was voted the 1985 Bob Jones Award, the highest honor given by the United States Golf Association in recognition of distinguished sportsmanship in golf.
In 2002, Zoeller joined the Champions Tour won the Senior PGA Championship that year. He has also won the 2004 MasterCard Championship on the Champions Tour.
