In 2004, Elliot Sadler had what many consider to be his breakout season. He visited victory lane three times in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series (Gatorade Twin 125 qualifying event at Daytona, Texas Motor Speedway and California Speedway). Sadler also qualified for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Chase for the Championship. The season recap consisted of eight top-fives and 14 top-10 finishes and a respectable ninth in the championship standings.
In 2005, he ran a limited Busch Series Schedule with CitiFinancial and a full season in the No. 38 M&M'S Ford. Sadler shared seat time in the No. 90 CitiFinancial Ford with his NEXTEL Cup Series teammate, Dale Jarrett. In sixteen Busch Series races, Sadler posted five top-5's including three 2nd place finishes.
For 2006, CitiFinancial will become a full time fixture in the NASCAR Busch Series. Sadler will share driving duties with RYR development drivers. The No. 90 CitiFinancial team will compete for the 2006 NASCAR Busch Series Owner's Championship.
When Sadler isn't behind the wheel, he enjoys being a spokesman for CitiFinancial, M&M'S, Pedigree, Tylenol, Bass Pro Shops, Ford, Coca-Cola and NASCAR Speedparks.
