In 1995,Elizabeth Hurley became the sole spokesmodel of top cosmetics company Estee Lauder.
She launched their best selling perfume, Pleasures, within her first month with the company. Two years later, she was cast as the female lead in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. She later appeared in several high-profile films, including EdTV, Bedazzled and Serving Sara.
Hurley extended her contract with Estee Lauder in 2006 for the 12th year. Hurley once joined forces with Hugh Grant to create a production company titled Simian Films. She produced two films; Extreme Measures and Mickey Blue Eyes. In 2004, she also produced Method, a film in which she starred.
Elizabeth Hurley won a "Face of the Year" competition at a local newspaper in the 1980's, gaining a one-year modeling contract with a prestigious London firm. She also launched an acting career, appearing in low budget English and Hollywood films, including Passenger 57.
Hurley launched her beachwear line in 2005. It is sold is select Saks Fifth Avenue stores and in Harrod's in the UK, as well as online.
