Donald Trump is a business executive, a CEO and the founder of Trump Organization, mainly involved in premium American real estate.
In 2004, he became the executive producer and host of The Apprentice, his own reality show airing on NBC in which a group of competitors battle for a high-level management job in one of his commercial enterprises. The first year of the show alone paid Trump $50,000 per episode and he is now paid a reported $3,000,000 per episode, thus making him one of the highest paid TV personalities.
Aside from his success in real estate and television, Trump has succeeded in marketing his Trump brand on a large number of products. Some of these products include: Donald J. Trump Men's Collection, Trump Ice Bottled Water, Disposable Cameras, Trump Vodka, and Trump Magazine.
He also launched Trump University in 2005, a business education company. In 2006, mortgage firm Trump Mortgage was launched as well as a travel website, Go Trump, featuring Trump Properties as well as other travel deals worldwide.
Donald Trump has now launched a new section dedicated to food within the Trump Organization. Trump Buffet, Trump Catering, and Trump Ice Cream Parlor are just a few.
Throughout the duration of his career, Donald Trump has made numerous appearances on TV as well as on the big screen. He guest starred in "The Little Rascals," appeared as a guest star on the show The Nanny, was part of a promotion campaign for his reality show on an episode of Saturday Night Live, and guest starred on an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Trump has starred as himself on Days of Our Lives and made an appearance on the game show Deal or No Deal. Donald Trump has attempted to run for President of the United States twice. In 1996, he ran in the Republican primaries but later quit their party in 1999 to prepare a presidential campaign as a Reform party candidate.
Trump is now the author of eight books and owns 3 monumental personal residences, an immense group of Trump-branded casino resorts, several luxury condominium towers, and island villas in the Caribbean.
