Dean Hill has over fifteen years of experience in the landscaping, construction, and home improvement profession as well as more than ten years of experience in high quality residential landscape design. He holds an undergraduate degree in Telecommunications and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Ball State University.
He is also the president and principal designer at a landscape architecture design studio called Terratecture, specializing in residential and commercial landscapes.
Previously, Hill had a radio and TV occupation that included talent work on TV, a weekly local cable football show, and a lot of radio experience. Hill now has his own show, Grounds for Improvement, leading homeowners through a variety of landscaping projects based on his designs.
With his help, ordinary people can easily improve their personal landscapes. Dean is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and has served on several of their national committees.
He was once president of the Indiana Chapter and has served on the Executive Committee as well as the Annual Design Award Committee for more than five years. Hill holds certification as a Master Gardener and is also a certified Plantsman and Master Plantsman per the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association.
