Dan O'Brien is a former American decathlete. He was known as one of the best decathlon athletes of the 1990's. He failed to qualify for the 1992 Olympic Games but used that as motivation for the 1996 Games.
While attending the University of Idaho, Dan competed in Track and Field. Dan went on to win gold medals at the 1991, 1993, and 1995 World Championships. After graduating, Dan returned to the university to train for the Olympic Games. He went to the 1996 Olympic games and won a gold medal for the decathlon. Soon thereafter, Dan was considered the World's Greatest Athlete.
In the late 1990's, Dan appeared in ads for Italian Designer, "Versace."
