After studying communications and journalism,Daisy Fuentes was selected as the host for WXTV Channel 41 weather. Quickly moving up the ranks, she eventually became the news anchor and reporter of the evening news.
When she was 19 years old, MTV hired Daisy as the host of MTV Internacional, which later became MTV Latino. Fuentes once landed a role on Loving, a soap opera on ABC.
Daisy has made appearances on shows including: Dream On, Cybill, and The Larry Sanders Show. She also hosted her own talk show, Daisy, from 1994-1995 on CNBC. For three seasons Daisy served as the host of America's Funniest Home Videos. She has also hosted the 1998 World Music Awards, The Alma Awards, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, the 1999 Billboard Latin Awards, Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe pageants. Revlon, American Express, Pantene, M&M's, and Miller Lite have all used Fuentes as their spokes model.
Fuentes has participated in the World Poker Tour to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital charity. She has also launched her own clothing line.
