Chuck Norris was a martial arts star who has won many championships. Chuck retired undefeated in 1974. Chuck was also a well known martial arts teacher. Chuck has had some very famous students such as: Steve McQueen, Bob Barker, Priscilla Presley and Donnie & Marie Osmond. Chuck retired undefeated in 1974.
Chuck was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame as Fighter of the Year in 1968 and was inducted as Instructor of the Year in 1977.
Chuck is also the founder and President of United Fighting Arts Federation with over 2,300 black belt members all over the world.
In 1997 Chuck was the first man ever to be awarded an 8th degree Black Belt Grand Master recognition in the Tae Kwon Do system and this honor was a first in 4,500 years of tradition.
Chuck has become an offshore powerboat racer. Chuck with his team and sponsor "Popeye Chicken" won the World Off Shore Powerboat championships in 1991. Since this honor he has gone on to set a new world record by racing a 38 foot Scarab boat 605 miles across the Great Lakes in the shortest amount of time.
Chuck is the author of two books, a spokesperson for United Way, Veterans Administration, an active member of the Make A Wish Foundation and a motivational speaker for numerous Christian ministries.
Chuck is the creator of the Kick-Start Foundation. This program has been so successful in helping kids raise their self-esteem and instilling discipline and respect, as well as getting them out of gang activities that the program is now in 30 schools.
