He is not a prodigy--he was a 98 pound, 16-year-old unknown who became a World Cup Champion at the age of 24. On his way to the ultimate podium, he captured two US Championships and four North American Championships. A two-time Olympian, he placed fourth in Lellehammer's Men's Combined Downhill. After two World Cup Silver Medals in Saalbach and Aspen, a lifetime of work finally paid dividends at "America's Downhill."
