Carlos Mortensen is one of the most well-known poker players throughout the world. Mortensen began his poker career in the late 1990's when he moved to America from Spain. At the time, it was illegal to play poker in Spain and Carlos knew there was more opportunity in America to win.
At the 2001 World Series of Poker, Carlos cashed in on his biggest prize yet, $1.5 million dollars. In 2004, at the North American Poker Championship, Carlos won the main event and $1 million in cash.
As of today, Carlos has 2 World Series of Poker bracelets and over $4 million in winnings. He is currently married to another poker player, Cecilia Reyes.
