Bow Wow is arapper and actor. He appears in the Guinness World Book of Records as the "youngest solo rapper to ever hit number one".
Bow Wow started his career as part of Death Row Records, appearing in various magazine and poster advertisements for the label. He released his first album, Beware of Dog in the year 2000 and became a successful recording artist.
After his debut album's success, the artist released Doggy Bag in 2002, containing the songs "Thank You" and "Take You Home" among others.Eventually, he broke out on his own with the album Unleashed in 2003, his first without Jermaine Dupri's assistance.
Bow Wow released his fourth album, Wanted in 2005. Two of the album's singles "Let Me Hold You" and "Like You" reached #1. Bow Wow is currently working on his fifth album, expected to be out in October of 2006.
Along with his own albums, Bow Wow has also contributed in Will Smith's Wild Wild West album, and has made a guest appearance on Brandy's TV sitcom, Moesha. Bow Wow's acting debut took place in 2002' in Like Mike.
Bow Wow has since starred in several Hollywood films, including his latest, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. He has appeared in numerous commercials for companies such as Campbells, Twix and Verbs. With the exception of the last one, he has also participated in every Scream Tour as the headlining act.
Bow Wow also performed live at the 2006 Kids' Choice Awards on Nickelodeon alongside Chris Brown. He appeared as a host on Miss Nana's album I Got The Hood, Volume 1 as well.
