established a reputation as "King of the Claimers" early in his career
by developing such platers as Baitman, Pataha Prince, Barometer and
Lakeside Trail into stakes winners.
Frankel has earned five
Eclipse Awards and was inducted into the Racing Hall of Fame in 1995.
Frankel has trained nine national champions: Squirtle Squirt and
Aldebaran, female turf horses Possibly Perfect, Wandesta, Ryafan and
Intercontinental, male turf horse Leroidesanimaux and older horses
