Bob Griese is a Hall of Fame Quarterback that led the Miami Dolphins to 2 Super Bowl championships in the seventies.
He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990.
Bob was also an All-American quarterback at Purdue University.
Griese is currently a television analyst for ABC TV's college football broadcasts.
Griese was a Pro Bowler six times in the NFL. He led the Dolphins to 3 consecutive Super Bowls, winning the last two of them.
In 1972, he broke his leg after being hit by San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Deacon Jones. The Dolphins continued to win without Bob, ending the regular season without a loss. During the 1972 AFC Championship versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, Griese returned for the first time since his injury. He started the second half and led the Dolphins to a come-from-behind victory to reach Super Bowl VII.
Miami would go on to defeat the Washington Redskins in that Super Bowl and in the process, became the first NFL team to finish a season undefeated(17-0).
His son, Brian, played college football at Michigan and is now playing in the NFL.
