Andy Houston is a veteran of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and has scored three career victories. Houston comes from a family of drivers, as he is son of legendary Busch Series driver Tommy Houston, and has three brothers that race as well. Houston has also raced in the Nextel Cup Series and the Busch Series.

Andy made his Busch Series debut in 1996 and was a regular on the Goody's Dash circuit, where he won the Most Popular Driver Award. It was in 1997 that Andy Houston made his Truck Series debut, with 1998 being his first full year on the circuit.
In 2000, Houston had his best season, as he won two races at Homestead and Portland, finished with 13 top fives, 18 top tens and finished third in the Championship Points race. In 2001, Houston debuted in the Nextel Cup (then Winston Cup) Series, where he was in the running for Rookie of the Year honors for most of the year.
