Adam Scott's professional golf career hit the the big time in 2001. That year, Adam won the European Tour's Alfred Dunhill Championship in Johannesburg, South Africa.Soon after, he won two more victories, at the Qatar Masters and the Diageo Scottish PGA Championship.
In 2002, Adam represented Australia in the WGC-World Cup.He was a member of the International Team at the President's Cup in 2003 and 2005.
In 2003, Adam won the Carlsberg Scandinavian Masters and conquered his first US PGA Tour victory at the Deutsche Bank Championship. 2004 and 2005 also brought victories in the The Players Championship and the Booz Allen Classic.He also won the Nissan Open and reached the top ten of the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time in 2005.
Adam Scott is one of only two golfers born in the 1980s to make the top ten in the Official World Golf Rankings. He is currently 6th in the world and his popularity on tour has put him in high demand from numerous corporate sponsors.
