Mike Bartrum played 13 seasons of professional football and was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles. He retired in June of 2007 and moved back to this hometown of Pomeroy in Meigs County. Bartrum started a Christian based pre-school. He also started flag football for the youth of the area and in November 2008 he was elected Meigs County Commissioner. In April 2012, Bartrum was named head football coach of his alma mater, Meigs High School. Michael Bartrum is now head football coach of Meigs High School.
