Brian Gregory was born December 15, 1966 and is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team. He has previously been head coach for the Dayton Flyers and an assistant for the Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team.
On March 28, 2011, it was announced that Gregory would become the 13th Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball head coach, replacing Paul Hewitt.
On March 16, 2015, Georgia Tech announced that Gregory would continue as head basketball coach for another year, despite the fact he had never coached the team to a winning record or a conference finish higher than ninth. The athletic director said it was a difficult decision, but in the end felt that Gregory deserved a chance to try to improve the results. He noted that fourteen of Tech's losses in the 2014-2015 season were decided by six points or fewer, or ended in overtime.
