Lee Corso is most famous for his work on ESPN's coolege football coverage, namely College GameDay as an analyst.
Corso was born in Orlando, Florida and played football at Florida State University, where he roomed with Hollywood legend Burt Reynolds. Corso was nicknamed the Sunshine Scooter for his speed on the field.
In 1969, Corso was hired as the head football coach at the University of Louisville. After Corso led Louisville to its first-ever bowl game in 1972, he was hired by Indiana University.
In ten years at IU, Corso's record was 41-68-2 and in 1983, he became an announcer for the fledgling United States Football League (USFL). After a brief head coaching stint at Northern Illinois University, Corso returned to professional football as the head coach for the USFL's Orlando Renegades.
Corso began working for ESPN in 1987.
