Brad Nessler's Biography
Brad Nessler is a sports broadcaster who currently calls college basketball games for ESPN and college football games for ABC Sports.
He has worked for ESPN since 1992 and added ABC assignments starting in 1997. From 2002 to 2004, Brad was a broadcaster for the NBA, including calling the 2003 NBA Finals. Nessler is part of the lead college basketball crew for Saturday Primetime with color commentary by Dick Vitale and courtside reports from Erin Andrews.
Nessler does SEC games for ESPN on Super Tuesday and Throwdown Thursday, both alongside Jimmy Dykes in primetime. He is also the play-by-play voice for the EA Sports video games NCAA Football.
During 2006, he will team up with Paul Maguire, Bob Griese, and Bonnie Bernstein on ABC's college football broadcasts. On September 11, 2006, ESPN began its coverage of Monday Night Football with a week 1 doubleheader. Nessler teamed up with Ron Jaworski, Dick Vermeil, and Bonnie Bernstein to call the San Diego Chargers-Oakland Raiders game which was the second game of that Monday Night Football doubleheader on ESPN.
